RADIO FTII

Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, to promote community radio stations in India, has given licences to reputed institutes and organisations, in the first phase. FTII is one of the institutes, given provision in Xth plan to set-up a community radio station as a tool for creative content for the students. Radio FTII is being used for community betterment rather than be just a campus radio.  Radio FTII is a non commercial venture in community service. Creating a platform, to disseminate ideas and thoughts, to express views, to expose talents, for making lives better of community around. Motivating people to exchange and share their feelings, experiences and empower them with a view to strengthen their voice for demanding a cleaner, healthier and safer environment. Its tag Line of 'In service of community' –depicts the objective and target.
