Monitoring of Vehicle Movement using GIS / GPS in Corporation of Chennai.

This product provides on-line monitoring of conservancy vehicles used for solid waste management. The key objectives served by the online monitoring is to ensure that the service level to citizens of Chennai City are met by the adherence of the conservancy vehicles to the route and schedule planned to ensure a clean city. In addition, the cost of providing such service is being optimized through monitoring of the fuel dispensation and haulage efficiency. By reducing the fuel consumed and optimizing the distance traveled the corporation achieves lower carbon footprint.
