MAT (Metal / Alcohol / Temperature ) Mobile Sensor on Open Source Hardware – Software Platform

MAT Mobile Sensor is basically a mobile application which runs on any Symbian based phones and able to detect the alcohol concentration consumed, temperature and any metal object near by using blue tooth enabled sensors.The power of the application is in its light weight, The code is less than 100KB and written in open source python language. The mobile application talks to nearby opensource bluetooth hardware which is having sensors for alcohol, metal and temperature. When user starts mobile application from the mobile phone, the application asks to connect to nearby bluetooth sensor, once connected it starts receiving data from all the three sensors and displays it in real time.
